I would still like to see an open source version of OX 0.8.2-2 (or
what's the latest version).
Then I could finally upgrade from OX 0.8.0-6 as all patches have already
been updated 8 month ago to support OX 0.8.2.
The problem with the project task is fixed in .
This would also give my successor time to migrate that stuff to the new
OX line.
Moving from PostgreSQL to MySQL isn't really a problem and it should
also be possible to stay with PostgreSQL a little bit longer. If there
is an ...IN (SELECT...).. somewhere PostgreSQL 7/8 is also much faster
than MySQL (3.23.x - 5.0.x; never tested 5.1.x).
I'm not sure what is stored in LDAP beside the login information. This
might require more work...I would move the login stuff to the existing
Central Authentication Service (CAS), which was already on my TODO list
for OX 0.8.2-x. I pushed that back because of the project task problem
mentioned above.

It would be interesting to see if the new version will again attract new
users.
Kind regards,
