Hi Even,

I think that there is no global answer on that question.
This is depending on:
 - how many users are CURRENT using the system
 - how many parts of the groupware is used
 - what type of user do you have
 - what type of data and how much data do you want to store in the
    download part of OX
 - what kind of bandwith your OX is connected to the internet
 - how many service the server has to manage
 - ...

For example:
If you allow private use of OX in our company (sending and/or storing)
audio-/video-files) you can run out of storage-place of your hd with only
a few user. Similar problem if you have many user who do not clear their
postbox and holding "everything". On the other side you maybe can handle
hundreds of users if they never get or send audio-/video-files, do not
need to send attachments, delete old emails they have answered and so on.

If the situation in our company is similar to our I would expect that your
server can handle 50 User without problems. But it also could serve maybe
only 25 or up to 100 depending on your special situation ...

Maybe my answer will not satisfy your question but I hope it will indicate
"the right way" ;-)

Kind regards
