[OX User] installation problem

For the rootpw in slapd.conf I am using the password that I created when
using slappasswd.
I copied and pasted in the SSH data for the password. Does that mean
that I can use the text that I used as the password when I ran
slappasswd?
E.G:
Slappasswd
new password: test
Re-enter new password: test
{SSHA}blahblahblah

I have copied and pasted the {SSHA} key into rootpw.
When ldapadd asks me for the password, can I type test instead of the
full ssha key?

Thanks and Kind Regards,

Hi,

You should use the password for the cn=Manager,dc=global-drum,dc=com
LDAP user, it might be defined in the directory itself or in
/etc/openldap/slapd.conf, look for the rootpw entry.

HTH,
-Mario.
