Hi Philip,

There is a workaround at least for Cyrus Imap.
If you want to have all the users subscribe 'automatically' to the newly
created folder you need to write a small script that browses through the
subdirectories of /var/lib/imap/user/ (or wherever your imap-server
stores the metadata).
These subfolders contain files called <username>.sub and this is where
cyrus stores a list of the subscribed folders of each user.
If I remember correctly you need to keep in mind that this list needs to
be sorted alphabetically and each line ends with an tab.
