Sure it's possible, in OX's database you have to modify the "folder_ID" 
value of "module_calendar" field in the "oxfolder_standardfolders" table 
for the concerned user's entry.

Ex: if your shared calendar as the folder_ID: 1583, you will enter this 
value in the module_calendar fields of concerned user(s) (see the link 
target in the sidepanel...or look at the "oxfolder_tree" table).

Note that this can be used to remap "Tasks" and "Contacts" folders 
too...and also note then this will apply to the "New item" 
fonctionnality (in the side panel).
