Re: French language
hey
you should know that not we (the developers) do the language packages. the packages are from independent users who want to help us with this project (sometimes called community). maybe someone is working on this allready but i can't tell you about it or give you any time when it will be released.
greetings ben

I just finished translating the groupware and webmail packages to french and sent them to Netline. I have not done much testing yet and this is where you can help !
For your info, it took me roughly 12h to do this. I specially hated the repetition of translation in the groupware part. Why doesn't the groupware reuse the same strings instead of repeating the same text over and over ? It really feels like the switch to gettext was done after development by some automated tool :-(
Happy new year !

Re: French language
hallo nickb,
is nice to hear that :-)
we start a long time ago a translation in french, but now we must stop, because we need our time first here to check it out the OX system for germany and the next step in march 2005 is to install the OX in our firms in France and Belgium. So than I hope it is really finish :-).
But we will try your translation and may be it will better than our translation.

Happy new year !

How do u deploy language pack once downloaded ?
Re: French language
A new version of the french translation has just been put online.
I fixed a few mispelling and the language code is now set to FR instead of FX.
